The annual Carnaval San Francisco Festival will take place on Saturday and Sunday, May 23rd & 24th, in the Mission District. Streets will be closed as early as Friday evening May 22nd and may not reopen until early morning Monday, May 25th.
The Carnaval Parade will take place on Sunday, May 24, starting at 9:30 a.m. in the Mission District. Streets will be closed beginning as early as the afternoon of Friday, May 22, through early morning Monday, May 25, and Muni will reroute around the parade route.
