Looking for Cupid? Start Here!

Wednesday, February 11, 2015

In his 1961 hit song “Cupid,” Sam Cooke achingly pleads with the god of love to “please hear my cry,” as he begs for assistance in trying to capture the affections of that special someone. Whether you find yourself in a similar situation needing a little help to stoke the flames or ignite a new fire, there is no denying that love is in the air as Valentine’s Day draws near. If you're looking to be struck by Cupid's arrow, try one of these events.

Pillow Fight
Saturday, 6 p.m.

Justin Herman Plaza will be a whirl of down as the feathers will literally be flying for an eagerly anticipated annual event: the Great San Francisco Pillow Fight. The pillow melee brings couples and singles together for a romping smack-down that will unleash their inner six-year-old.

"Pillow fighters" can utilize any Market Street route or the 14 Mission to Market and Steuart streets or take the Muni Metro subway to Embarcadero Station.

Muni service note: there are no expected impacts to Muni service.
