Budget Town Hall Meeting

Meeting Purpose:

Please join us to develop the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) 2015 and 2016 Capital and Operating Budget and Fiscal Year 2015-2019 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). The Budget and CIP represent the SFMTA’s commitment to investments that result in excellent transportation choices for all.

6:50 – 7:30 pm

Presentation and Discussion with Director of Transportation, Ed Reiskin

Ed Reiskin, Director of Transportation, will make a presentation that will cover the scope of the SFMTA, its current financial environment, and the base budget. The presentation will be followed by a discussion on options and opportunities as the specific budget proposals are developed for consideration by the SFMTA Board of Directors.

7:30 – 8:00 pm

Speak to SFMTA Staff on Key Issues and Proposals

SFMTA staff will be available at stations in the room to discuss and take further comments on ideas and proposals related to:

• Fees and Fares (fare changes, free Muni for youth, etc.)
• Transit Service (service increases/travel time reduction projects)
• Bicycle Strategy
• Pedestrian Safety and Walk First initiative
• Transportation Task Force
