Release date: Sept. 23, 2011 *** Press Release ***The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA), which oversees all surface transportation in the City, including the Municipal Railway (Muni), today announced a seasonal change of hours at three of its Muni sales kiosks effective Saturday, Oct. 1. The Bay and Taylor location reopened in August to provide increased customer convenience. Due to reduced demand during the fall and winter months, the Presidio and Geary, the Bay and Taylor and the Hyde and Beach kiosks will go from 12 hours a day to six. The kiosk near the Powell Street cable car turnaround will keep its 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. schedule. All kiosks operate seven days per week. A full schedule is listed below. Effective October 1 through March 31, SFMTA Muni sales kiosks hours: Bay and Taylor – New hours Sales hours: noon to 6 p.m. 7 days per week Hyde and Beach – New hours Sales hours: noon to 6 p.m. 7 days per week Powell and Market – Same hours Sales hours: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. 7 days per week Presidio and Geary – New hours Sales hours: noon to 6 p.m. 7 days per week Closed on major holidays Explore: |
