Contract Compliance Office program details American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009On February 17, 2009, President Barack Obama signed the landmark American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Of this amount, the SFMTA is to receive an initial $67 million which is being directed to “shovel-ready” capital projects designed to rehabilitate, update and renew transit vehicles, facilities and vital systems, as well as to improve customer convenience features. If you want to know the results of a bid, you need to contact the Muni division which conducted the bidding process for that particular bid. If the results of a bid need to be approved by the SFMTA Board, that will appear on our Web site as a calendar item of the SFMTA Board's agenda for a particular meeting.
