Recently Completed Projects

  • At 17th Street and Church Street, bike lanes were marked through the intersection to encourage people on bikes to cross the tracks at sharper angles. The parking was also moved back to create more room for maneuvering.

  • Oak Street and Fell Street Pedestrian and Bike Safety Project
  • McCoppin Street bicycle lanes, Gough Street to Valencia Street
  • Market and Valencia Streets Intersection bicycle left-turn traffic signal improvements
  • John Muir Drive separated bikeways, Lake Merced Boulevard to Skyline Boulevard (John Muir Bikeways installed in partnership with the Bay Area Air Quality Management District)

Note: To the greatest extent possible, projects are coordinated with repaving or construction projects to maximize efficiency and minimize disruption. They are also affected by weather conditions, especially during wet winter months. Thus, this schedule is subject to change but will be updated regularly with best available information.
