Engineering Public Hearing Notice 07-20-07

Pursuant to DPT Order No. 3385 adopted July 5, 2007 the Department of Parking and Traffic will hold a public hearing to solicit public input on the following proposed changes. The hearing will be held as follows:

Date/Time: Friday, July 20, 2007, at 10:00 am
Location: Room 416 (Hearing Room 4), City Hall, San Francisco
(located on Van Ness Avenue between McAllister and Grove Streets)

SPEED RADAR SIGN – INSTALL
255 Teresita Boulevard

RED (NO PARKING ANYTIME) ZONES - ESTABLISH
Juanita Way, north side, from Fowler Street crosswalk to approximately 14 feet westerly;
21st Street, south side, from Douglass Street to 20 feet westerly; and,
Douglass Street, west side, from 21st Street to 20 feet southerly.

RESIDENTIAL PERMIT PARKING AREA "X" (2-HOUR TIME LIMIT, 8 AM - 6 PM,
MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY) - ESTABLISH
1550 - 1562 22nd Street (includes these addresses to be eligible for Area "X" permits, but no signs will be posted on the street).

TRAFFIC SIGNAL - ESTABLISH
Bayshore Boulevard, at new Home Depot driveway (750 feet north of north property line at Cortland Avenue).

RIGHT TURN ONLY- ESTABLISH
370 Bayshore Boulevard, west side, from the driveway of the Jack in the Box restaurant located at the proposed intersection to be signalized.

TOW-AWAY NO STOPPING, 4 PM TO 6 PM, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY – RESCIND
Laurel Street, east side, between California Street and Mayfair Drive.

MUNI BUS ZONES - RESCIND
Page Street, south side, from Octavia Boulevard to 75 feet westerly; and,
Page Street, south side, from Gough Street to 75 feet westerly.

MUNI BUS ZONE - ESTABLISH
Page Street, south side, from Octavia Boulevard to 80 feet easterly.

TOUR BUS PARKING ONLY, 9 AM TO 6 PM, DAILY - RESCIND
901 Columbus Avenue, west side, from Lombard Street to 47 feet northerly.

1 - HOUR PARKING TIME LIMIT, 9 AM TO 6 PM, MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY – RESCIND
Gough Street, east side, from Geary Boulevard to Ellis Street.

1 HOUR PARKING TIME LIMIT, 7 AM TO 6 PM, MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY - RESCIND
Gough Street, west side, from Eddy Street to Golden Gate Avenue.

NO PARKING ANYTIME - RESCIND
COMPACT VEHICLES ONLY - ESTABLISH
Linden Street, north side, from 82 feet to 101 feet west of Gough Street.

TOW-AWAY NO STOPPING ANYTIME - ESTABLISH
Linden Street, south side, from 40 feet to 136 feet west of Gough Street.

TRAFFIC SIGNAL - ESTABLISH
16th and DeHaro Streets;
30th Avenue and Lincoln Way;
Brotherhood Way west of Chumasero Drive at proposed access to new development; and,
Powell and Washington Streets.

TOW-AWAY, NO PARKING, 7 PM TO 6 AM, DAILY - ESTABLISH
Clementina Street, south side, from Gallagher Lane to 5th Street,

TOW-AWAY, NO PARKING, 7 PM TO 6 AM, DAILY - ESTABLISH
Gallagher Lane, west side, from 20 feet north of Clementina Street to Tehama Street.

TOW-AWAY, NO PARKING, 7 PM TO 6 AM, DAILY - ESTABLISH
Gallagher Lane, east side, from Clementina Street to 20 feet south of Tehama Street.

YELLOW (METERED LOADING) ZONES, 7 AM - 6 PM, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY- ESTABLISH
363 Clementina Street, from driveway to 44 feet westerly (44-foot yellow zone).

Opinions on these proposed changes may be filed in writing prior to the hearing with the City Traffic Engineer at the Traffic Engineering Division, 1 South Van Ness Avenue, 7th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103-5417. Written opinions may also be transmitted to the Traffic Engineering Division via fax at 701-4737. Submitted opinions will become part of the official public record and will be brought to the attention of the person(s) conducting the hearing.
