This section contains meeting and other information for the various Livable Streets-related boards and committees within the SFMTA and related City & County of San Francisco committees.

Note: If you are a citizen trying to accomplish a particular goal, please contact SFMTA Livable Streets staff first, following up if necessary with the committee whose specific purpose is closest to your area of interest (Livable Streets).

The SFMTA includes the following boards and committees:

The San Francisco Board of Supervisors oversees the following Livable Streets-focused committee:

  • The Pedestrian Safety Advisory Committee meets to consider pedestrian transportation projects and policies and to make recommendations to the Board of Supervisors, the Municipal Transportation Agency, the Citizens Advisory Committee of the Transportation Authority, and other City and County of San Francisco agencies. Their duties include supporting the development of a Pedestrian Master Plan, review and make recommendations on policies and programs related to pedestrian  improvements including, but not limited to, issues of safety, traffic calming, education, and sidewalk and crosswalk treatments.
