This section contains meeting and other information for the various parking-related boards and committees within the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) and related City & County of San Francisco committees.

Note: If you are a citizen trying to accomplish a particular goal, please contact SFMTA staff first, following up if necessary with the committee whose specific purpose is closest to your area of interest (parking).

• The SFMTA Board sets policy for the SFMTA. Board meetings are found on the SFMTA Board meetings page.
• The SFMTA Board members comprise the Parking Authority Commission. Parking Authority Commission meetings are found on the SFMTA Board meetings page.
• The Citizens Advisory Council (CAC) an advisory body to the SFMTA, provides recommendations to the Agency with respect to any matter within the jurisdiction of the Agency.

Parking-focused committees and hearings:

• Color curb hearings are held twice a month at City Hall to legislate the installation of new colored zones.
• The purpose of the traffic engineering hearings is for residents to express their concerns regarding the posted parking and traffic changes affecting their streets.
• ISCOTT is a city staff committee that meets to discuss temporary street closures for special events.
• The Accessible Parking Policy Advisory Committee will work from October 2012 to March 2013 to develop recommendations regarding on-street accessible parking policies.
