About the Taxi Advisory Group

The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency Taxi Advisory Group (TAG) is an advisory passive meeting body that will provide input regarding the SFMTA’s Business Merger Plan.  The TAG is composed of nine members.  Members include one representative each for taxicab drivers; medallion holders, color schemes, special events, hospitality industry, senior and disabled and three members of the public.  The Special Events representative shall be held by the President/CEO of the San Francisco Convention and Visitors’ Bureau or his/her designee.  The seat for Seniors/Disabled shall by held by the Chairman of the SFMTA Paratransit Coordinating Council or his/her designee.  One of the three members of the general public shall be the Chairman of the SFMTA Citizens’ Advisory Council or his/her designee.

Meetings and agendas

The Taxi Advisory Group will conduct five meetings to discuss proposed merger-related issues only, held every two weeks beginning August 21.  All meetings will be held in the Union Square conference room (room 7080) at 1 South Van Ness Avenue, 7th floor, from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.
