Hearing Notices

There are three types of hearings noticed on this page:

  • A "Disciplinary Hearing" concerns a disciplinary action taken by the SFMTA concerning a SFMTA permit holder (a driver, medallion holder, color scheme or dispatch service) and is heard by a SFMTA hearing officer.
  • A "Board of Appeals Hearing" is brought by a driver, medallion holder, color scheme or dispatch service that is appealing the decision of a SFMTA hearing officer in a disciplinary hearing.
  • An "Administrative Hearing" is held when a person protests a citation that was issued to him or her for the operation of a taxi or a color scheme or dispatch service in San Francisco without a permit from the SFMTA.
