Your dog heard it

A man is jogging with his dog. The man is wearing headphones. The dog is making short, low barks. A bus approaches. The dog starts barking louder as the man, head down, steps into the street. The bus driver reacts to what he sees, presses down on the horn button and pushes back in his seat [implied pushing on the brake pedal].

The man, hearing the horn looks up. Focus on the 12-Fulton head sign of the bus. Title: The dog heard it, why didn't you?

Cut to man on sidewalk with license plate over his face. Dog shakes his head and makes a low, whining growl.
