This afternoon, Muni had a 45-minute delay due to a small fire and smoke on top of a Muni train at the Embarcadero Station. The fire was put out by the SFFD quickly.

Muni is up and running and making all stops. Embarcadero Station was closed for cleaning and to ensure the safety of our customers and personnel.

Repeat: as of 3:45pm, Embarcadero Station is open.
