On Wednesday Oct. 31, there will be a parade on Market Street celebrating the Giants winning the World Series. Because of the parade and anticipated crowds expected along the route and in downtown, many routes will be detoured and delayed.

The F Market will have shuttle bus service the night before with reroutes in the Market and Steuart area.
The 2, 6, 21 and 31 will not serve the Market and Steuart area the night before.
The 5 Fulton and 21 Hayes routes will reroute in the Civic Center area beginning the night before.
All other reroutes will start Wednesday morning.

Downtown

Use Muni Metro in lieu of Market Street surface bus

Ferry

Use Muni Metro to Embarcadero

Transbay Terminal

Use Muni Metro to Embarcadero and use Main or Beale Street to Howard

Caltrain Depot

Use N Judah or KT Ingleside and third via Muni metro

To the Richmond District

2 Clement and 3 Jackson to the Richmond

Board on Sutter between Kearny and Grant

5 Fulton and 21 Hayes

Board on Hayes at Van Ness. Or for the 5 Route only, board on McAllister at Gough

31 Balboa

Board on Turk between Mason and Taylor

38 Geary and 38L Geary Limited

Board on Eddy and Cyril Magnin(5th north) or Geary and Leavenworth. Geary and Taylor (38 local only)

To the Sunset District

6 Parnassus

Board at Market and Van Ness

71 Haight-Noriega and 71L Haight-Noriega Limited

Board along Mission between 3rd and 8th or Market and Van Ness

The F Line will be replaced by buses all day. No service between Van Ness and Ferry during Parade. Use Metro.

8X Bayshore Express to Visitacion Valley or Bayshore, City College (8AX and 8BX if necessary)

Board at Stockton and Washington (Chinatown) or at 5th and Howard (SoMa)

8X Bayshore Express to Fisherman’s Wharf

Board at 3rd and Perry (between Harrison and Bryant) or at Columbus and Pacific

9 San Bruno and 9L San Bruno Limited to Vis Valley or Bayshore

Board along Mission between 3rd and 8th or at 11th and Market

10 Townsend and 12 Folsom and Pacific to Pac Heights

Board to 5th and Folsom or at Leavenworth and O’Farrell.

30 Stockton and 45 Union-Stockton to Chinatown, North Beach and the Marina Area

Board on Sutter between Kearny and Grant. Exit at Montgomery station.
No service from south of Market. Use 8X, 10 or 12. From Caltrain use KT or N to Montgomery Station.

30 Stockton and 45 Union and Stockton to SOMA or Caltrain

No service to South of Market. From Chinatown use 8X at Washington or 10 or 12 at Broadway and Stockton.
For Caltrain use T or N at Powell or Montgomery Station.
Use 8X at 5th and Howard.

Golden Gate Transit

Use regular stops on Mission or board along regular stops on Van Ness.

Note: Muni vehicles stop only at existing marked Muni stops. Reroutes over streets not normally served by Muni will operate non stop over those streets. Exceptions to this policy, if any, would be noted above as "temporary stop."
