The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA), which oversees all surface transportation in San Francisco including the Municipal Railway (Muni), announced today that it will include at its Tuesday, July 6, Board of Director’s meeting a hearing on improving Muni service effective September 4. July 6 Hearing detailsMuni Service Improvements Public Hearing Noon, Tuesday, July 6 Nearby Muni Routes: 5 Fulton, 21 Hayes, 47 Van Ness, 49 Van Ness-Mission, Civic Center and Van Ness Muni Metro stations September 4 Restoration DetailsThe following improvements are proposed to restore service to some bus routes and rail lines affected by the May 8 service changes. The plan distributes resources city-wide and focuses on areas that will have the most benefit to customers. Restore Owl Service to Every 30 Minutes System Wide
Note: The 108 Route would continue to operate Owl service every 45 minutes. Restore End Times for Community Routes

Note: Muni vehicles stop only at existing marked Muni stops. Reroutes over streets not normally served by Muni will operate non-stop over those streets.
