SFPD has asked for assistance in locating a missing person. As of 8:30 a.m., this morning, Thursday, August 28, 2008, a 79-year old woman went missing from the 1500 block of Broadway. Her name is Rita Kushnir. Ms. Kushnir speaks only limited Russian due to a prior stroke. She suffers from Alzheimers, has dementia, is diabetic and walks with a limp. Notify the SFPD missing persons unit at 415-558-5508. Nights and weekends notify the operations center at 415-553-1071. She was last seen wearing white hat, blue sweatshirt and green pants. She is 5’3”, 220 lbs, has red hair, and green eyes. Ms. Kushnir has been a frequent Muni customer and may be traveling on the transit system.
Note: Muni vehicles stop only at existing marked Muni stops. Reroutes over streets not normally served by Muni will operate non-stop over those streets.
