UpdateThe 14, 14L and 49 routes will return to their regular route through the Inner Mission District via Mission Street at 5 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29, for all hours of service. Reroute Details, through 5 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29The San Francisco Department of Public Works (DPW), the Public Utilities Commission (PUC) and the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) are collaborating to expedite much needed infrastructure repairs along Mission Street between 16th Street and Cesar Chavez. Beginning Saturday, March 3, Muni will reroute the 14 Mission, 14L Mission Limited and 49 Mission/Van Ness buses from Mission Street to South Van Ness. In addition, minor reroutes to other Inner Mission buses will be required from time to time. The rerouting is necessary to expedite the work and minimize the impact to area residents and businesses. The temporary bus route will remain in place for the duration of the project (approximately 6 months) and will help Muni maintain safe and reliable service. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
