Routes: 44, 108 44 - O'Shaughnessy Service extended to Bayview Plaza and T-Third line Effective Saturday, February 23rd, 2008, Muni route 44-O’Shaughnessy is extended to a new terminal next to the Bayview Plaza at Evans Avenue & 3rd Street. The line continues to serve the U. S. Postal Facility but no longer runs on Fairfax Street between Mendell and Keith Streets. The change in routing gives residents of the Bayview/Hunter’s Point Area direct service to Bayview Plaza. It also now connects to the T-Third line at 3rd Street & Palou Avenue and at 3rd Street & Evans Avenue.
108 - Treasure Island Service extended to Caltrain Effective Saturday, February 23rd, 2008, service on Muni route 108-Treasure Island coming from Treasure Island is extended afternoon and evenings to Caltrain at 4th & King Streets. Buses will stop on First Street between Mission and Howard Streets, and at Caltrain, with no stops in between. Returning to Treasure Island, buses will stop at Caltrain and then at the regular stop inside the Transbay Terminal. Customers will still be able to board buses to Treasure Island in the upper level at Transbay Terminal from 5am to 11:45pm. The service to Caltrain will operate every day (weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays) between the hours of 2:00pm and 10:00pm.
