Lines: Possible Re-routes F, 22, 47; Delays: 30, 108
Area Affected: Fisherman's Wharf
Dates: Saturday & Sunday, October 6 & 7, 2008
Time: 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or until clear

The U.S. Navy Fleet Week begins Saturday with a Parade of Ships at noon and an Air Show from 1:00 pm to 4:30 p.m. The Air Show repeats on Sunday, same times. Ships will be docked at various piers and are available for visits Monday and Tuesday, noon to 4:00 p.m. Over 75,000 are expected each day. This will affect Muni service.

Muni will provide extra service on line 47-Van Ness from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.—there may be a reroute on line 47 for Sunday—and from the Ferry Building along the Embarcadero from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m..

In addition, line 47 may only serve Van Ness at the northern end, and lines 22 and 49 may not serve stops north of Chestnut, at any time from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, if necessary, and will be rerouted for the Italian Heritage Day Parade on Sunday . The F-Market and Wharves Historic Streetcars may skip all stops west of Pier 39 on Saturday and Sunday.

All lines mentioned above may be crowded and delays may be possible on all Muni lines. Your patience is appreciated.

The 108-Treasure Island may be delayed due to extra traffic to Treasure Island, and the 30 may be delayed in the Fisherman's Wharf area.
