Save time. Buy a round-trip transfer/fare-receipt at selected locations.

The San Francisco Pride parade starts at 10:30 a.m. from Market & Beale, with a route on Market to Eighth Street, in the Civic Center area, where the celebration will take place.

Because of the traffic congestion caused by the many people who will be coming to see the parade and participate in the celebration, Muni customers are advised to take Muni Metro whenever possible, and are reminded that holders of the adult Muni Fast Pass may use BART within San Francisco at no extra charge.

Extra Service for Pride

Extra service will be provided in the Muni Metro subway between the West Portal and Embarcadero stations from 8 a.m. to about 11 p.m. on Sunday.

Extra bus service from Church & 30th to the Transbay Terminal will be provided from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. and from Market & Van Ness to Church & 30th from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. on the J Church Line..

 

Round-trip transfer sales

You can buy a round-trip transfer/fare-receipt at selected Muni Metro stations.

  • $3.00 Adults
  • $1.00 Discount

The transfer is good for a round-trip on Sunday only. It is not valid on Cable Cars.

Muni round-trip transfers will be sold at the Castro and Church Street Metro stations prior to the event. 

 

Re-routes due to Pride March and Celebration

From 7 a.m. until the end of the celebration, the F Market & Wharves Line will not operate on Market Street between Van Ness Avenue and The Embarcadero. During that time, the historic streetcar service will operate between Fisherman's Wharf and the Ferry Building at the foot of Market Street, and in the Castro/Upper Market area, on Market Street between Castro Street and Van Ness Ave.
