Bus Route: 74X CultureBus
Area: Downtown, Golden Gate Park
Date: 7 days a week (except New Years, Thanksgiving and Christmas)
Schedule effective Jan. 24, 2009
Time: Daily 10:00am until 6:00pm

San Francisco introduces a pilot 74X CultureBus special express service to connect the SOMA Museum District, Union Square, and the museum concourse in Golden Gate Park.

For one special event fare you can ride all day, getting on and off as many times as you like. Some museums give discounts when you show your special transfer. Then continue to use your special event fare transfer on Muni bus, Metro, and historic streetcar service (cable cars not included) for the rest of the day.

Buses run once each hour.

No service on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas holidays

Outbound to Golden Gate Park

Leave Howard & New Montgomery:
10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Intermediate stop: 3rd & Minna.

Leave Geary & Powell:
10:10 a.m. until 5:10 p.m.

Leave McAllister & Larkin:
10:20 a.m. until 5:20 p.m.

Arrive California Academy of Sciences, Golden Gate Park:
10:40 a.m. until 5:40 p.m.

Inbound to SOMA Museum District

Leave California Academy of Sciences, Golden Gate Park:
10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Intermediate stop at DeYoung Museum, Hagiwara Tea Garden Drive, Golden Gate Park.

Intermediate stop at Lincoln Way & 9th Avenue.

Leave Larkin & McAllister:
10:20 a.m. until 6:20 p.m.

Leave Post & Powell:
10:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m.

Intermediate stop at Mission & 3rd.

Arrive Howard & New Montgomery:
10:40 a.m. until 6:40 p.m.
