Fares and salesClipper® is your all-in-one, reloadable transit fare payment card. Muni has transitioned most paper monthly passes to the Clipper card New, modern faregates and Ticket Vending Machines have been installed in all Muni Metro Stations. As an organization striving to provide safe and reliable public transportation, the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) is committed to constantly improving access to our products and services. We are in the process of introducing new fare media items and adopting new technologies. Please use this Web site to familiarize yourself with the products that most suit your needs. Route and fare information is also available by calling the San Francisco 311 Customer Service Center or 511. Regular SFMTA fares including Monthly passes and discount travel for the disabled and youth, are available at vendor locations throughout the city. Free transfers are valid in any direction within 90 minutes of issuance. Pre-purchased Muni fare media — passes, single-ride ticket booklets, visitor Passports and CityPASS® — are valid on all Muni vehicles, although some may require an additional fare. The Adult Fast Pass® is also valid on BART within San Francisco. There is also a Senior/Disabled Pilot Pass Program to test a pass for Seniors and persons with disabilities that would be valid on BART within San Francisco. Explore:
