Recommendations for 6-Parnassus

- Would be extended to West Portal Station on 14th Ave. and Taraval St. (would require extension of overhead wires)
- Would be rerouted via Stanyan between Haight and Parnassus to consolidate the 7-Haight and 6-Parnassus into one route; segment in Ashbury Heights would be discontinued to conserve resources
- Shown with two-way service on lower Haight St. (further study needed)
- Combined with 71L, would provide local and limited-stop service on the full length of Haight St. every 5 min daytime and 10 min evening
- Modified by SFMTA Board of Directors Ad Hoc TEP Review Committee to study both the proposed and existing route alignments in Ashbury Heights during environmental assessment
