These meetings are open to the public and provide an opportunity for residents, riders and other stakeholdres to offer feedback regarding the TEP recommendations. TEP Advisory GroupsThree formal advisory groups have provided ongoing direction and valuable input throughout the Transit Effectiveness Project. Spring 2008 Community MeetingsFrom April 19th - May 17th, the TEP held 11 community meetings across the City to collect public input on draft proposals to transform Muni. At each meeting, the TEP presented strategies to improve on-time performance and reliability system wide and discussed proposed changes to routes. Over 1,200 people attended and we have since received over 3,000 comments through the web and through the City's 311 Customer Service Center. The formal public comment period on the draft TEP proposals ended June 15, 2008 to enable the project team to further refine the proposals to incorporate stakeholder input.
