Project Description and Study Area
The SFMTA Livable Streets Division has begun a planning and analysis effort for the Dewey and West Portal area.  Through a combination of research and community outreach, the SFMTA will work with local community members and stakeholders to design and implement the necessary treatments to reduce traffic speeds and improve pedestrian and bicycle safety for this highly residential neighborhood. A map of project is available below.

Community Kick-Off Meeting
The SFMTA will host the project's first public meeting on August 11th, 2011 at St. John's Christ Church, located at 501 Laguna Honda Blvd, from 6:30 – 8:00 PM.
