SFgo Program Mission Statement

The mission of SF Program is to:

Advance the City's "Transit First" Policy,
Integrate transportation management and public safety systems,
Promote economic prosperity and livability for San Francisco's diverse and vibrant community,
Evaluate and implement advanced technologies.

SFgo Program Vision Statement

The vision for the SFgo Program is a fully-integrated transportation management system that uses advanced technology to improve mobility, safety and efficiency.

SFgo Program Goals

Provide an advantage to transit, bicyclists, and pedestrians while accommodating commercial vehicles, carpools, and automobiles.

Integrate with Muni to improve transit efficiency and encourage residents and visitors to use transit.

Enable mobility of people and goods while protecting quality of life and clean air.

Enhance safety and reduce transportation related accidents.

Provide real-time information to the public in conjunction with other transportation agencies.

Enhance our ability to respond rapidly to emergencies and natural or manmade disasters.
