Renewing your Residential Parking PermitRenewal notification letters are mailed out on a monthly basis. Please return entire form with your payment as soon as possible to 11 South Van Ness Avenue, SF, CA 94103. Allow at least 21 days for processing. While you may obtain your permit renewal in person or by mail, lines at 11 South Van Ness Avenue can be long. Avoid the wait...mail in your permit renewal form and payment. Your permit will be sent to you within three weeks. If you choose to obtain your new permit at 11 South Van Ness Avenue and you are renewing your permit with a pre-printed renewal form sent to you by SFMTA, you do not need to include DMV registration or residency proof. However, if you do not have your renewal notification letter with you you must show proof of residency and DMV registration. Residents in Residential Parking Permit areas whose zone expired after May, 2012 are now able to renew their annual parking permits online. Residents with expiring permits will be receiving a renewal notice in the mail providing them with the renewal link and a personalized PIN number. PIN numbers are required to use the online renewal system. Your PIN number is located on the renewal notice received via U.S. mail and cannot be re-generated. If you have lost the PIN number you must use another source to obtain your permit i.e., by mail or in person at 11 SVN.
