Area affected: Howard Street between The Embarcadero and 10th Street; 9th Street between Folsom and Market Street; Hayes Street between Market and Divisadero Streets; Divisadero Street between Hayes and Fell Streets; Fell Street between Divisadero and Stanyan Streets; Various Streets inside Golden Gate Park and The Great Highway

The following City Streets will be closed for the Bay to Breakers race beginning on Sunday, May 18th at 12:01 AM until 10 AM:

(PLEASE NOTE: THE FREMONT STREET OFF RAMP FROM WESTBOUND HWY 80 WILL BE CLOSED FROM 2AM UNTIL APPROXIMATELY 10 AM)

Steuart Street between Mission and the southerly terminus.Spear, Beale, Main, Fremont, 1st, 2nd, New Montgomery and Hawthorne Streets between Mission and Folsom Streets; Howard Street between Steuart and 3rd Streets.

Starting at 7:00 AM until 10:30 AM, Howard Street between 3rd and 9th Streets will be closed.

Starting at 7:00 AM until 10:45 AM, 9th Street between Howard and Hayes Streets will be closed.

Starting at 7 AM until 11 AM, Hayes Street between Market and Divisadero Streets will be closed.

Starting at 8 AM until 11:30 AM, Divisadero street between Hayes and Fell Streets; Fell street between Divisadero and Stanyan Streets will be closed.

After this, race participants will enter into Golden Gate Park: John F. Kennedy Drive between Stanyan Street and the Great Highway will be closed between 8 AM and Noon.

The Great Highway between Fulton Street and Sloat Boulevard will be closed between 12:01 AM and 2 PM.

Lincoln Way between the Great Highway and Sunset Boulevard; Martin Luther King Drive between the Great Highway and Transverse Drive will be closed between 8:30 AM and 1 PM.

Middle Drive West and Metson between 33rd and 40th Avenues will be closed between 2 AM and 2 PM.

Traffic will be greatly impacted during the race. The only North/South roads open throughout the race are The Embarcadero and 19th Avenue. All streets will be reopened as soon as the last runners pass and the street has been cleaned..
