Start date: February 21, 2010 End date: February 21, 2010 Area affected: Various traffic lanes in Chinatown and along the Embarcadero On Sunday, February 21st between 7:00 AM and 9:30 AM, there will be street and lane closures to accomodate the Chinese New Year 5 and 10 K Run. Grant Avenue between California Street and Pacific Avenue and Pacific Avenue between Grant Avenue and Stockton Street will be closed between 7 AM and 9:30 AM. The run will start at 8 AM at Grant and Sacramento. Runners will head north on Grant to west on Pacific to north on Stockton to east on North Point to south on Southbound Embarcadero to west on Washington to south on Battery to west on Pine to north on Kearny to the finish line at Clay. Runners will then enter Portsmouth Square after crossing the finish line. All runners doing the 10 K will do the route a second time.
