Area affected: Eastbound Market Street between 6th and 10th Streets

Beginning Tuesday, September 29, 2009, private motorists traveling eastbound on Market Street will be encouraged to turn right on 10th Street before being diverted south on 8th Street. Motorists coming onto Market Street from 7th Street will be diverted at 6th Stret. Traffic flowing north and south across Market Street, will be unaffected as will cars traveling westbound. Public transit, taxis, bicycles, emergency and delivery vehicles will continue to fully access Market Street in both directions.
