Area affected: The area around Moscone Center

From Thursday, September 11th at 8 PM until Friday, September 26th at 10 PM, Howard Street between 3rd and 4th Streets will be closed.

Westbound traffic will be detoured southbound on 2nd Street to Harrison Street where motorists will be able to continue westbound.

Traffic headed south on New Montgomery will be detoured south to Hawthorne Street to Harrison Street.

Expect heavy traffic in the area of the closure. Motorists are encouraged to find alternative routes around the detour.

People are encouraged to take public transportation to their destination.

There are no MUNI reroutes as a result of this closure.
