Start date: March 13, 2010 End date: March 13, 2010 Area affected: Civic Center and Market between 1st and 10th Streets; 2nd between Market and Townsend Streets Starting at 10 AM, the St. Patrick's Day parade units will gather along 2nd Street between Market and Townsend Streets. East and west cross traffic will be allowed up until 11 AM between 1st and 10 Streets. Starting at 11:30 AM, the parade will move west along Market Street to west on McAllister Street to south on Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett to west on Grove Street to where the parade will disband. There will be no cross traffic along Market Street during the parade which should end by 1:30 PM. Streets will re-open once the parade has passed and has been cleaned. There will be a St. Patrick's Day Festival in Civic Center Plaza and on Grove Street between Polk and Larkin Streets. The hours of the festival will be from 10 AM to 5 PM.
