Start date: February 7, 2010 End date: February 7, 2010 Area affected: The Little Saigon area of San Francisco The following streets will be closed in celebration of the Vietnamese New Year from 12:01 AM to 11:59 PM on Sunday, February 7, 2010: Larkin Street between Eddy and O'Farrell Streets; Ellis Street between Hyde and Polk Streets; Willow Street between Polk and Larkin Streets; Olive Street between Polk and Larkin Streets; Intersections: Larkin and Ellis Street; Olive and Larkin Streets; and Willow and Larkin Streets. The event festivities will begin at 10 AM and run until 5:30 PM. There will be entertainment, food, vendor booths and community groups at this event. Further information on this event can be found at www.vietccsf.org. Note: This website is mainly in Vietnamese. Northbound traffic traveling on Larkin Street can continue north via Polk, Leavenworth or Van Ness Avenue. Ellis Street traffic can use either Geary or Turk Streets for westbound travel through the area. For real time traffic information, please call 511 from any Bay Area County or go to traffic.511.org.
