The pilot centennial civic art project, "Treasures from the Muni Archive,” takes viewers to the streets of San Francisco at the turn of the century with vintage sepia-toned images of San Francisco mounted on the backsides of Muni’s new “wave shelters” along lower Market Street. Images culled from Muni’s extensive archives will be featured on transit shelters from the corner of Steuart and Market streets west to Market and 4th streets.
