Sunday Parking Meter Changes This Weekend

Effective Sunday, July 13, 2014, parking meters will operate in The Fisherman’s Wharf area, along The Embarcadero roadway, in the Special Event Area around Oracle Park, and in the five metered off-street parking lots listed below:

1. 8th Avenue at Clement Street
2. 9th Avenue at Clement Street
3. Geary Boulevard at 21st Avenue
4. 18th Avenue at Geary Boulevard
5. Pierce Street Garage (between Lombard and Chestnut streets)

Parking meters in the Special Event Area operate on Sundays only when there is an event, such as a Sunday Giants baseball game at Oracle Park. 

Effective July 1, 2014, parking meters do not operate on Sundays in all other parts of the city.
