Color Scheme and Dispatch Service Renewals FY 24

TO: San Francisco Taxi Drivers, Color Scheme Managers and Medallion Holders

Pursuant to San Francisco Transportation Code, Division II, §1105(a)(5), “[u]nless earlier revoked or suspended, all permits shall expire one year following their issuance or renewal, or on another date as specified by the SFMTA.”  San Francisco Taxi Color Scheme Permits and Dispatch Service Permits issued or renewed for Fiscal Year 2023 are set to expire on June 30, 2023. 

To allow Color Scheme and Dispatch Service managers additional time to complete the renewal process, FY23 San Francisco Color Scheme Permits and Dispatch Service Permits will be extended until July 31, 2023.  San Francisco Taxi Color Scheme Permits and Dispatch Service Permits that expire on June 30, 2023 are authorized to operate until July 31, 2023. 

Please ensure that you submit all the documents as required by §1103(f) for Dispatch Service Permits and as required by §1103(g) for Color Scheme Permits.
