The agenda for tomorrow’s Board of Directors meeting includes an update on the procurement of Muni’s next train fleet and authorization of a grant to overhaul the current trains. There will also be a presentation on San Francisco’s Sea Level Rise Action Plan.

Our Board of Directors meetings are usually held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. The agendas are posted under “meetings” on the Board’s web page 72 hours in advance of the meeting. All regular meetings can be viewed on The City channel 78 or online at the SFGovTV2.

As we prepare to break ground on Van Ness Avenue’s transformation with Bus Rapid Transit, our “Meet the Expert” series kicks off with an overview of the Van Ness Improvement Project’s construction from Walsh Construction’s Jay Simms. This is your opportunity to join the conversation, ask questions, or just kick back and listen.

We’re hard at work designing and implementing safety upgrades for people walking, riding bikes, and driving along Upper Market Street from Castro Street to Octavia Boulevard. Several safety enhancements have already been completed, with several more on the way. You’re invited to an open house to learn more about our safety improvements. This is also your chance to provide feedback on our changes to improve safety and convenience.
