Public Records Requests

The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) and its governing body, the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency Board of Directors, are committed to providing members of the public their full rights to access public records in the possession of the SFMTA.

The two laws primarily governing the public's right to access the SFMTA's records are the San Francisco Sunshine Ordinance and the California Public Records Act.  The goal of these procedures is to ensure that members of the public receive prompt, accurate and thorough responses to their requests for public records.
