Post Incident Summaries August 2014

Saturday, August 30

• From 4:36 to 5:18 p.m., the California Cable Car Line was down due to a mechanical issue. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.
• From 11:16 a.m. to 3 p.m., the 38 Geary was delayed at O'farrell and Polkstreets.  A reroute was put into place; no stops were missed.   

Wednesday, August 27

• From 2:38 to 3:29 p.m., the southbound J Church Line was switched back at Church and Day streets due to an overhead wire issue near Glen Park station. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.
• From 8:45 to 11:35 a.m., the northbound T Third Line was delayed at 3rd and Marin streets due to a power issue at the Islais Creek Bridge.  Shuttle buses supplemented service.

Tuesday, August 26

• From 6:06 to 9:22 p.m., the Powell Cable Car Line was down due to a cable issue. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.

Sunday, August 24

• From 4:35 to 5:27 p.m., the westbound F Market and Wharves Line was blocked at Market and Church streets due to police activity. Westbound F streetcars were switched back at Market and 11th streets.
• From 10:51 a.m. to 12:34 p.m., the outbound K Ingleside Line was delayed due to a mechanical issue.

Saturday, August 23

• From 2:17 to 3:20 p.m., the northbound 12-Folsom/Pacific Route was routed around the area of Pacific and Grant due to police activity.

Thursday, August 21

• From 5:12 to 5:58 p.m., Muni Metro service was delayed at West Portal Avenue and Vicente Street due to a stalled train. The northbound M Oceanview and K Ingleside Lines were switched back at St. Francis Circle. The eastbound L Taraval Line was switched back at Taraval and 22nd Avenue. Bus shuttles supplemented service on the affected lines.

Wednesday, August 20

• From 8:47 to 9:26 p.m., the westbound N Judah Line was delayed at Second Avenue and Irving Street due to a mechanical issue. 

Tuesday, August 19

• From 7:45 to 11:40 a.m., the Powell Cable Car Line was down due to a mechanical issue.  Shuttle buses supplemented service.

Monday, August 18

• From 9:30 to 11:51 p.m., the southbound T Third Line was switched back at Third Street and Armstrong Avenue due to a track issue near Bayshore Boulevard and Visitacion Avenue. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.
• From 9:08 to 10:25 p.m., the westbound 31-Balboa Route was routed around the area of Turk Street between Hyde and Larkin streets due to police activity.
• From 8:03 to 10:00 p.m., the southbound 28-19th Avenue Route was routed around the area of 19th Avenue between Quintara and Rivera streets due to fire department activity.
• From 12:24 to 1:25 p.m., the northbound T Third and N Judah Lines were delayed at King and Third streets due to a Muni involved accident. Inbound N and T trains switched back at Embarcadero Station, while northbound T trains switched back at Fourth and Channel streets. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.

Sunday, August 17

• From 6:10 to 9:10 p.m., the 14-Mission and 49-Mission-Van Ness Routes were routed around the area of Mission and 24th streets in both directions due to a non Muni accident.

Saturday, August 16

• From 4:40 to 7:57 p.m., the eastbound 5-Fulton was routed around the area of Arguello Boulevard and Fulton Street due to a non Muni accident.
• From 2:56 to 6:07 a.m., the 24-Divisadero Route was routed around the area of Divisadero Street between Ellis and Eddy streets in both directions due to police activity.
• From 11:45 a.m. to 12:57 p.m., the inbound 14 Mission Route was delayed at Mission and 5th streets due to an overhead wire issue.   

Friday, August 15

• From 10:49 p.m. to 1:38 a.m. Saturday, the eastbound 14-Mission Route was routed around the area of Mission and Fifth streets due to a non Muni accident.

Tuesday, August 12

• From 8:10 to 8:40 p.m., the eastbound N Judah Line was delayed at Judah Street and 22nd Avenue due to a stalled train.

Monday, August 11

• From 10:44 to 11:40 p.m., the northbound J Church Line was blocked at San Jose Avenue and Randall Street by a stalled automobile on the track way. Southbound J trains switched back at 30th and Church streets. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.
• From 12:15 to 1:09 p.m., the southbound F Market and Wharves Line was delayed at Beach and Mason street by a Muni invovled accident. Northbound F streetcars switched back at Pier 39. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.
• From 6:08-6:49 the inbound 6 Parnassus was delayed at Parnassus and Stanyan streets due to an accident. 

Sunday, August 10

From 6:52 p.m. to 1:04 a.m. Monday, the eastbound 54-Felton Route was routed around the area of La Salle Avenue and Cashmere Street due to police activity.

Friday, August 8

• 5:35-7:53 a.m., the Powell Cable Car Line was down due to the repairing of cable.  Shuttle buses supplemented service.

Tuesday, August 5

• 8:35 to 9:30 a.m., the J Church Line was delayed at Church Street between 12th and 13th streets due to a mechanical issue.

Monday, August 4

• From 12:10 to 3:01 p.m., due to fire department activity on Market Street between Seventh and Eighth streets, the eastbound F Market and Wharves Line switched back at Market and 11th streets, while southbound F streetcars switched back at The Ferry Building. The 5L-Fulton Limited, 6-Parnassus, and 9-San Bruno Routes were re-routed via Mission Street between Sixth and Ninth streets. The eastbound 5-Fulton Route was switched back at McAllister and Fillmore streets. The eastbound 21-Hayes Route was swithed back at Grove Street and Van Ness Avenue. The eastbound 31-Balboa Route was switched back at Turk and Mason streets. The 30-Stockton and 45-Union-Stockton Routes experienced service delays in both directions.
• From 5:16 to 6:26 a.m., the northbound K Ingleside Line was delayed at Ocean Avenue and Victoria Street due to a train with a power issue.  The train was taken out of service.  

Saturday, August 2

• From 2:13 to 4:53 p.m., the T Third Line was blocked in both directions on Third Street between Palou and Newhall avenues by police activity. Southbound T trains switched back at Third Street and Evans Avenue. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.
• From 9:45 to 10:15 a.m., the eastbound L Taraval Line was delayed at Taraval Street and 23rd Avenue due to a stalled train.

Friday, August 1

• From 11:59 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Saturday, the Powell Mason Cable Car Line was down due to repair work on the turntable at Bay and Taylor streets.
• From 1:36 to 5:42 p.m., the southbound T Third Line was delayed at Third Street and Innes Avenue due to a Muni involved accident. Southbound T trains switched back at Third Street and Evans Avuenue. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.
• From 1:29 to 4:00 p.m., the westbound 38-Geary and 38L-Geary Limited Routes were routed around the area of Geary Boulevard between Laguna and Webster streets due to a Muni involved accident.
• From 5:18 to 11:08 a.m., the inbound 41 Union was delayed at Columbus Street between Green and Vallejo streets due to a tree that fell on top of overhead wires.
