UPDATE 3/31: Transit service changes for the inbound 44 and 52 bus routes will be extended through Friday, April 15. There is curently an issue with several utility boxes underneath the sidewalk that is preventing the contractors from finishing the install of ADA ramps. SFMTA and the contractors are currently working with AT&T and PG&E to resolve this issue quickly and continue with planned construction.

Construction for the final revision to the Glen Park Improvements Project will start on Monday, March 21. Crews will be working on the northeast corner (where Citibank used to be) and finishing the remaining tasks, which include:

  • Revisions to the northeast corner of Diamond/Bosworth
  • Installation of ADA ramps
  • Final/finishing work (i.e. permanent striping and painting, closeout checklist, etc.)

The remaining construction work is expected to be completed by the end of March. Final work, including permanent striping and painting, will conclude the project, all of which is expected to be completed by mid-April.

Transit Service Changes:

Between Monday, March 21, and Friday, April 15, the 44 O’Shaughnessy and 52 Excelsior bus stop at the northeast corner of Diamond and Bosworth will be temporarily skipped. Buses will not pick up customers at this bus stop.

  • If you take the 44 inbound (towards the Richmond), a temporary bus stop will be across Diamond Street, adjacent to the metered parking spaces. There are no changes to the bus route.
  • If you take the 52 inbound (towards Forest Hill), use the existing 52 bus stop outside of Le P’tit Laurent restaurant at Diamond and Chenery. Inbound buses will turn right at Arlington, left at Wilder, and right at Diamond in order to get back onto the regular route.

All other bus lines and directions will operate regular service.
