Only in San Francisco can you see beautifully restored historic vehicles operating in everyday service alongside modern fleet. But the SFMTA and Market Street Railway take the historic experience one step further for the annual Muni Heritage Weekend. The vehicles and routes tell the story of Muni. The celebrations this year will be of the 100th anniversary of motorcoach service and the 100th anniversary of the J line.
This year celebrates J and Muni bus service - - 100 years of providing connectivity. In addition to riding vintage vehicles, come see historic photos and take a selfie with a complimentary comemorative cap.
