Upper Market Street Safety Project - Final Project Proposal Moving Forward

Based on input from the May 5, 2016 open house, multiple meetings and presentations with neighborhood stakeholders, and input from an online survey, the SFMTA has finalized the scope of work for the streets and sidewalks portion of the Upper Market Street Safety Project.  Please see the "Upper Market Street Safety Project Proposal" PDF under the Documents Tab for more detailed information about the proposed improvements at each corridor intersection.

In Fall 2016, the SFMTA will be finalizing design and environmental review of the street and sidewalk improvements. These project elements will be put before the public at an SFMTA Engineering Public Hearing in late-2016.  Sign up for project updates under the "Recieve Updates" tab above to keep posted on the date of this Public Hearing.

Also in Fall 2016, the SFMTA will be conducting further outreach regarding circulation and curb management changes.
