Taxi Medallion Permit Renewal Fee

TheTaxi Medallion renewal fee for fiscal year 2016-17 is $1063.50. You have two payment options:

Option 1:

Pay the amount in full by June 30, 2016. You must pay the SFMTA directly. DO NOT SUBMIT PAYMENTS TO YOUR COLOR SCHEME. SFMTA accepts cash, credit card or personal checks. Please make personal checks payable to SFMTA TAXI SERVICES:

Payment by mail: Mail personal check made out to SFMTA TAXI SERVICES to

1 South Van Ness, 7th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103, Attention SFMTA Taxi Services. (Note your medallion number on the check)

In person payment: You may pay at the Taxi Services Window during normal business hours, Monday through Friday.

Option 2:

Sign and return  the Medallion Permit Renewal Fee Payment Plan and pay the medallion renewal fee in three equal installments per medallion.

First installment ($354.50) due August 31, 2016

Second installment ($354.50) due November 30, 2016

Third installment ($354.50) due February 28, 2017

Please note that you must either pay the medallion renewal fee in full OR return the signed payment plan form by June 30, 2016.
