This Weekend: Potrero Hill Festival, Fiesta on the Hill, and the Grand National Rodeo

Grand National Rodeo

Friday and Saturday, 7 to 10 p.m.
Cow Palace

The Grand National Livestock, Horse Show and Rodeo wraps up its second and final weekend at the Cow Palace this Friday and Saturday. Now in its 71st year, the rodeo celebrates and showcases traditions of the Old West and the vital role agriculture has played in California's history. 

How to Get There on Muni: The 8 Bayshore, 9 San Bruno and 56 Rutland will take riders close to the Cow Palace. 

Muni Service Notes: The 8, 9 and 56 routes may see minor delays and crowding due to increased ridership.

Portero Hill Festival

Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Potrero Hill

The Potrero Hill Festival takes place this Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. on 20th Street between Wisconsin and Missouri streets. The festival celebrates the Potrero community and features local food vendors and artists, musicians, historians and much more. Benefits from the Festival will support the Potrero Hill Neighborhood House (NABE), a community resource that provides programs designed to help the residents of the Potrero Hill community.

How to Get There on Muni: The 10 Townsend and 19 Polk routes will take riders close to the event.

Muni Service Notes: The 10 Townsend will have a reroute while both the 10 and the 19 Polk may see minor delays or crowding due to possible ridership increases.

Fiesta on the Hill

Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Bernal Heights and Excelsior

Returning after a one-year hiatus, the Fiesta on the Hill comes back to Bernal Heights and the Excelsior for a day of fun, food, music and much more for the whole family to enjoy. All proceeds go to the Bernal Heights Neighborhood Center and its programs which serve the Bernal Heights, Excelsior and other surrounding neighborhoods.

How to Get There on Muni: The 24 Divisadero and 67 Bernal Heights routes will take riders close to the event.

Muni Service Notes: The 24 Divisadero will have a reroute while both the 24 and the 67 Bernal Heights may see minor delays and crowding due to possible ridership increases.

Update: N Judah Bus Substitutions

This is the final planned weekend for N Judah Line bus substitution service between Ocean Beach and Duboce & Church beginning Friday at 7 p.m. for construction on the Inner Sunset Streetscape Improvement Project. Please see our updated service alert page for details.

Reminder: J Church Stop Changes at Balboa Park
