On November 4, 2016, Mayor Ed Lee, the SFMTA, SF Public Works and the SF Recreation and Parks Department installed speed humps on John F. Kennedy Drive in Golden Gate Park to make the road calmer and safer as part of the city's Vision Zero efforts.
