This Weekend: An American Wine Competition and Tulips at Pier 39
Holiday Parking Enforcement and Muni Service Reminder: Monday, February 19 is President's Day and, in observance, Muni will operate on a Saturday schedule. Residential permits, Monday-Friday daytime street sweeping and commuter towaways will not be enforced, however, seven-day nighttime street sweeping and parking meters will be enforced.

San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition

Over the past 18 years, the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition has evolved into the largest competition of American wines in the world. At this public event, wine lovers have the opportunity to sample wines from across the country while getting to mingle with the winemakers, judges, and the gourmet foodies who will be on hand to serve up that perfect bite to compliment that perfect wine.
How to Get There on Muni: Wine aficionados may take 22 Fillmore, 30 Stockton or the 43 Masonic close to the event.
Muni Service Notes: There are no planned reroutes for this event. The 22, 30, and 47 routes may some see minor crowding due to potential increased ridership to and from the event.
Tulipmania at Pier 39
Each day through Sunday, 10 AM - 9 PM

Take in the colors and scents of over 39,000 blooming tulips the remainder of this week through the weekend at Pier 39 during Tulipmania Along with the shops, cafes and restaurants of the pier, visitors can enjoy the beauty of the flowers while also getting helpful gardening tips on one of the free guided tours led by Pier 39's landscaping team. Self-guided tours are also an option with maps available for download from pier39.com
How to Get There on Muni: Riders may take the E Embarcadero or F Market and Wharves streetcar lines as well as the 8 Bayshore, 39 Coit or 47 Van Ness to the pier for this event.
