Take the Hassle out of Parking on Giants Game Days

Thursday, March 29, 2018

Opening Day is rapidly approaching! On Tuesday, April 3 at 1:35 p.m., the San Francisco Giants will play the Seattle Mariners at AT&T Park.

With the start of the San Francisco Giants baseball season around the corner and the team gearing up for their 60th season in the city, the SFMTA would like to take this time to remind you that there is limited metered parking near the 41,915 seat stadium. Everyone knows that parking is already limited in the city, so with big crowds expected at the often sold out Giants games, we encourage you to consider a couple of options to help you take the hassle out of parking on Giants game days:

  • Take transit to the game or, if you have no other choice
  • Park at a reasonably priced City Garage and walk to the stadium (city garage parking can cost as little as $1 an hour).

The most affordable way to get to the stadium is by public transit.

Transit

Muni service is available to and from all home games. Transit riders can take the following buses and/or trains to get to the park.

  • E Embarcadero (service ends at 6 p.m.)
  • T Third
  • N Judah
  • Metro Ballpark Shuttles
  • 10 Townsend
  • 30 Stockton
  • 45 Union/Stockton
  • 47 Van Ness

More details about Muni service to AT&T Park, including connections from other Bay Area transit systems, can be found on our website. Regional transit information for BART, Caltrain and the ferries as well as traffic is available at 511.

Parking At a Nearby City Garage Can Cost as Little as $1 an Hour

If driving to the stadium is more convenient for you, the SFMTA’s city-managed garages offer the most affordable parking rates.

If you park between 11 a.m. and 5 P.M. at the Moscone Center Garage (255 3rd Street, 1.1 miles or about a 17 minute walk via 3rd Street), it will cost approximately $23, with a daily maximum of $29.
