Van Ness Avenue Construction Forecast: October 15 - October 26, 2018

The following Van Ness Improvement Project construction forecast is subject to change. For more project details, please visit SFMTA.com/VanNess.

The night shift for construction is scheduled between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. During this time, neighbors are advised to anticipate construction-related noise and vibrations as crews work diligently to complete necessary night work.

Tentative Schedule:

Lombard to Greenwich: Monday, October 15 and Tuesday, October 16, crews are scheduled to perform water work. Monday through Friday, October 22 through October 26, crews are scheduled to work on sewer main installation.

Greenwich to Filbert: Monday through Friday, October 15 through October 19, crews are scheduled to perform water and sidewalk replacement work. Monday through Friday, October 22 through October 26, crews are scheduled to work on sidewalk replacement.

Filbert to Union: Monday through Friday, October 15 through October 19, crews are scheduled to perform water work, pothole for upcoming work, and to prepare the area for sidewalk replacement work. Monday through Friday, October 22 through October 26, crews are scheduled to work on sidewalk replacement.

Union to Green: Monday through Friday, October 15 through October 19, crews are scheduled to perform water and sidewalk replacement work. Monday through Friday, October 22 through October 26, crews are scheduled to work on sidewalk replacement.

Vallejo to Broadway: Monday through Wednesday, October 15 through October 17, crews are scheduled to work on sidewalk replacement.

Broadway to Pacific: Monday through Wednesday, October 15 through October 17, crews are scheduled to work on sidewalk replacement.

Clay to Sacramento: Monday through Friday, October 15 through October 19, crews are scheduled to work on sewer main installation and to pothole for upcoming work. Intensive noise and vibration is expected.

California to Pine: Thursday through Friday, October 18 through October 19, and Monday through Friday, October 22 through October 26, crews are scheduled to work on sewer main installation. Intensive noise and vibration is expected. Crews are also scheduled to pothole for upcoming work.

Pine to Bush: Monday through Friday, October 15 through October 19, crews are scheduled to pothole for upcoming work. Monday through Friday, October 22 through October 26, crews are scheduled to work on sewer main installation. Intensive noise and vibration is expected.

Bush to Sutter: Monday through Friday, October 15 through October 19, and Monday through Friday, October 22 through October 26, crews are scheduled to work on sewer main installation. Intensive noise and vibration is expected. Crews are also scheduled to pothole for upcoming work.

Sutter to Post: Monday through Friday, October 15 through October 19, and Monday through Friday, October 22 through October 26, crews are scheduled to work on sewer main installation and sidewalk replacement. Intensive noise and vibration is expected and access to Daniel Burnham Court will be limited.

Night work is scheduled Monday through Friday, October 22 through October 26, between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., when crews are scheduled to work on sewer main installation. Intensive noise and vibration is expected.

Post to Geary: Night work is scheduled Monday through Friday, October 15 through October 19, and Monday through Friday, October 22 through October 26, between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., when crews are scheduled to work on updating the emergency firefighting system. Disruptive noise is expected.

Geary to O'Farrell: Monday through Friday, October 15 through October 19, and Monday through Friday, October 22 through October 26, crews are scheduled to install a joint-utility trench. Monday through Friday, October 22 through October 26, crews are also scheduled to perform street lights and sidewalk replacement work.

Night work is scheduled Monday through Friday, October 15 through October 19, between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., when crews are scheduled to work on updating the emergency firefighting system. Disruptive noise is expected and access to Myrtle Street might be limited.

O'Farrell to Ellis: Monday through Friday, October 15 through October 19, crews are scheduled to install a joint-utility trench and to work on sidewalk replacement. Access to Olive Street might be limited.

Ellis to Eddy: Monday through Wednesday, October 15 through October 17, crews are scheduled to work on sidewalk replacement and sewer main installation. Thursday, October 25 and Friday, October 26, crews are scheduled to work on sewer main installation.

Eddy to Turk: Monday through Wednesday, October 15 through October 17, and Thursday through Friday, October 25 through October 26, crews are scheduled to work on sewer main installation.

McAllister to Grove: Monday through Friday, October 15 through October 19, and Monday through Wednesday, October 22 through October 24, crews are scheduled to work on sewer and water main installation. Intensive noise and vibration is expected.

Grove to Hayes: Monday through Friday, October 15 through October 19, and Monday through Wednesday, October 22 through October 24, crews are scheduled to work on sewer main installation. Intensive noise and vibration is expected.

Fell to Market: Monday through Friday, October 15 through October 19, crews are scheduled to work on sewer main installation. Intensive noise and vibration is expected.
