Update: Starting Saturday, October 12, the inbound 47 will serve stops on Harrison at 3rd St and 4th St. The inbound 83X stop at Brannan & 8th St is moved to 9th St. The map is updated to reflect both these changes.

Muni service to the Caltrain depot will be rerouted to allow for construction for the Townsend Corridor Improvement Project. The 47 will follow a new route starting on Saturday, September 7. The 81X, 82X and 83X will follow a new route starting Monday, September 9. During construction of this project, NextMuni predictions and trip planning may not be accurate.

47 Van Ness Changes

From the new terminal at Townsend & 4th St, the new route will continue on Townsend, turn left on 3rd St, and left on Harrison to the regular route.

From Bryant, the new route will turn right on 5th St, and left on Townsend to the new terminal.

Mornings, To Levi Plaza: From the new terminal at Townsend & 4th St, continue west on Townsend, right on 5th St, right on Brannan to the regular route.
Evenings, to Caltrain: From Brannan, left on 4th St, left on Townsend to the new terminal.

83X Mid-Market Express Changes

To Civic Center: From the new terminal at Townsend & 4th St, the new route will continue on Townsend, turn left on 3rd St, and left on Brannan, right on 9th St to the regular route.

To Caltrain: From Brannan, the new route will turn right on 5th St, and left on Townsend to the new terminal.
