Pursuant to the public hearing held on November 15, 2019, traffic movement and safety may be improved by the changes approved below. The Environmental Clearance for these items is noted on Order No. 6181.
1. ESTABLISH – NO PARKING ANYTIME
Geneva Avenue, south side, from 33 feet to 60 feet east of Ocean Avenue

The proposed modification creates a no parking zone to provide maneuvering clearance for eastbound traveling Muni buses.

San Carlos Street, between 19th Street and 20th Street (2 speed humps)

Post Street, south side, from 6 feet to 29 feet west of Laguna Street
(23-foot zone, removes 1 general metered parking space 614-1601)

The proposed modification adds daylighting a high-injury network intersection to improve pedestrian visibility.

5. ESTABLISH – RESIDENTIAL PERMIT PARKING AREA I ELIGIBILITY

The proposed modification will create eligibility for the residents of 2903 Mission Street to purchase permits to park within the RPP Area I.

Proposing a Bay Wheels bike share station on the south side of Folsom Street in the floating parking lane adjacent to Valvoline Oil Change.
Decision: Approved by City Traffic Engineer for implementation.

Whether or not the City Traffic Engineer’s decision is considered a Final SFMTA Decision is determined by Division II, Section 203 of the Transportation Code. If the City Traffic Engineer approves a parking or traffic modification, it is considered a Final SFMTA Decision. If a City Traffic Engineer disapproves or declines a parking or traffic modification, a member of the public must request additional review by the SFMTA of that decision which shall be conducted pursuant to Division II, Section 203 of the Transportation Code before the decision becomes a Final SFMTA Decision. Final SFMTA Decisions, whether made by the City Traffic Engineer or the SFMTA Board, can be reviewed by the Board of Supervisors pursuant to Ordinance 127-18. Decisions reviewable by the Board of Supervisors are denoted with a pound (#).
